Starting in 2025, all Tempo cloud apps will begin moving to Connect on Forge – a key step in our long-term platform evolution. This means faster performance, stronger security, and even more innovation. And best of all: No disruption to how you work today.
What is Forge?
Forge is Atlassian’s next-generation cloud app development platform, designed to improve security, scalability, and performance. It enables apps to run within a more integrated and optimized environment – reducing complexity and laying the foundation for a more resilient, streamlined experience in the future.
We're committed to doing the same, working alongside Atlassian to build toward a more cohesive model that supports long-term innovation and customer trust.
We’re starting with "Connect on Forge" – a transitional framework that lets us adopt key benefits of Forge without disrupting your current workflows. From there, we’ll continue evolving our apps to take greater advantage of Forge’s capabilities over time, improving performance, security, and maintainability as we go.
