At Tempo, we believe the best tools should feel seamless, secure, and ready to grow with you. That’s why we’re transitioning to Forge – Atlassian’s modern, cloud-native app development platform designed to power the next generation of Jira and Confluence apps.

Starting in 2025, all Tempo cloud apps began moving to Connect on Forge – a key step in our long-term platform evolution. This means faster performance, stronger security, and even more innovation. And best of all: No disruption to how you work today.

What is Forge?

Forge is Atlassian’s next-generation cloud app development platform, designed to improve security, scalability, and performance. It enables apps to run within a more integrated and optimized environment – reducing complexity and laying the foundation for a more resilient, streamlined experience in the future.

We're committed to doing the same, working alongside Atlassian to build toward a more cohesive model that supports long-term innovation and customer trust.

We started with "Connect on Forge" – a transitional framework that let us adopt key benefits of Forge without disrupting your workflows. We’ll continue evolving our apps to take greater advantage of Forge’s capabilities over time, improving performance, security, and maintainability as we go.

What does this mean for you?

This is a behind-the-scenes upgrade – so from your perspective, everything will continue working exactly as it does today. What will change is the performance and potential of the apps you rely on every day.
