Tempo team wins at Codegeist 2025
Tempo Team
Huge shout out to our team for winning Codegeist 2025 "Apps for Software Teams" with Secure Notes for Jira!
Alina Tsabai, Kseniya Moskalenko, and Vasiliy Zakharchenko teamed up at this annual hackathon to see if they could create something to solve real problems in the quickest time possible.

Teams often need to share sensitive information during everyday work – everything from incident details to credentials and chats. Work needs to be tracked in Jira – but it lacks a private place for secure communication.
Secure Notes for Jira emerged from the idea of creating a channel directly inside Jira – without external tools, without separate systems, and with a strict zero-trust approach where only the intended recipients can ever decrypt the content.
What it does
Alina, Kseniya, and Vasiliy created their own tool – not a Tempo one – that could create encrypted notes directly in Jira issues – shareable with one or multiple recipients with end-to-end client-side encryption.
They even managed to add in Rovo capability with an audit trail and summaries, a three-layer security model, and a dashboard – all of which won them the prize for best app for software teams.

Also, we’d like to celebrate the other winners, Deiser and Avisi, along with our entire team who attended. We’re always proud to see our team do well.
If you want to hear about how they made Secure Notes for Jira, its future, and the other winners – there is a webinar with all the winners covering the top learnings from Codegeist 2025.
Congratulations again Alina, Kseniya, and Vasiliy!
