Spend is attributed by matching same-day activity across your connected tools. If someone used an AI coding tool on a given day, and that same day had commits or pull requests linked to a Jira work item, the spend for that day is split across those items — proportionally by lines of code changed when available, evenly by event count otherwise. Spend on a day with no matching development activity is counted as unattributed rather than guessed at.
At launch, it connects to GitHub (commits, pull requests, and comments) and the Anthropic Claude Console admin API for cost and usage data. A connector for OpenAI's public admin API is planned before general availability.
