The Forrester Consulting study, entitled “Maximize Your Portfolio Management Processes,” surveyed 528 global decision makers in charge of their organizations’ portfolio management solutions to assess their current portfolio management processes and solutions.

The results underscore the challenges leaders are facing in implementing portfolio management processes within their organizations, such as:

• Current portfolio management processes focus on project management over strategy

• Executives and directors are misaligned when it comes to their portfolio management solutions 

• A lack of integration across the business fuels challenges and siloes

• Organizations plans to increase investment in portfolio management solutions in the next 24 months
