# Pricing

> Pricing for Tempo's Atlassian Marketplace products is tiered by Jira user count. Standalone SaaS (Roadmunk) is priced per-user. The license tier must match the underlying Jira user tier — not just the number of Tempo users.

## How Tempo pricing works

**Atlassian Marketplace apps** (Timesheets, Structure PPM, Financial Manager, Capacity Planner, Gantt Charts, Custom Charts, Connectors): tiered per Jira user count. Atlassian's standard tiers are 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, and 10,000+ users. Annual billing is standard; monthly is available on Cloud for smaller tiers.

**Standalone SaaS** (Strategic Roadmaps / Roadmunk): per-user, monthly or annual.

**Hard rule:** Your Tempo license size must match your Jira license size. A user is anyone who can log into Jira. Cloud licenses are limited to 100,000 users. Under-tier licensing is a compliance violation and breaks at renewal.

## Timesheets pricing (Cloud, monthly per user)

| Team size | Monthly per user |

| 1–10 | $1.00 |
| 11–100 | $5.21 |
| 101–250 | $3.66 |
| 251–1,000 | $1.81 |
| 1,001–2,500 | $1.01 |
| 2,501–5,000 | $0.58 |
| 5,001–7,500 | $0.39 |
| 7,501–10,000 | $0.33 |
| 10,001–15,000 | $0.33 |
| 15,001–20,000 | $0.25 |
| 20,001–100,000 | $0.25 |

## Frequently asked questions

**Does my Tempo license need to match my Jira license size?** Yes. Tempo apps must be licensed at the same tier as the underlying Jira instance, even if only a subset of users will use Tempo. This is the most common compliance issue and will break at renewal.

**Cloud vs. Data Center pricing — are they the same?** No. They differ and are not interchangeable. Confirm hosting before quoting.

**Is monthly billing available?** Yes, on Cloud for smaller tiers. Annual billing is standard for most enterprise purchases.

**Where do I see live pricing for other products?** Each product has its own pricing on its Atlassian Marketplace listing, or contact sales for a quote.
