What is Capacity Insights?

Capacity Insights is an automated capacity visualization solution that enables product organizations to unlock the full potential of their development teams.

It automatically delivers visibility into how team time and efforts align with critical business objectives, team efficiency, and project ROI – without the manual effort or administrative overhead of time tracking.

How does it work?

Put simply, Capacity Insights leverages the data inside your organization (from sources such as Jira, calendars, GitHub, and more), and parses them with AI to deliver actionable insights.

Tempo has a long history in time tracking and capacity management, working with over 30,000 teams the world over. This experience and data is invaluable when it comes to building a tool like Capacity Insights. Tempo’s engineering team used the highest-quality data to train our models. The current models have been trained on 2M+ worklogs, and will improve over time. 

How much does it cost?

Nothing. Like many apps on the Atlassian Marketplace, Capacity Insights is free for 30 days. After those 30 days, the cost is $.10/user/month. However, there is a promo code on the listing itself that will give you access to Capacity Insights for six additional months. 

Why is it free?

We wanted to make it free so that as many teams as possible can benefit from better capacity management and, of course, to improve the quality of our models. More users means better data for the models, which benefits all users.

Is my data secure?

Yes, 100% secure. No data is shared outside of Tempo, and all data is completely secure. Tempo maintains the highest levels of security, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance. You can review all of our certification and policies via our Trust Center.

Which tools does Capacity Insights integrate with?
